Many of the clubs reach the halfway point of the group stage this week, meaning with as little as three games left they need points.
Fenerbahçe are one such club, and they kick off their week hosting Manchester City on Thursday afternoon. City will come into the match full of confidence after they came from behind against Fenerbahçe to record their first win of the Series earlier in the month. Things could easily be different in Istanbul however.
Barcelona will hope to strengthen their lead at the top of Group 1 when they travel to Wolfsburg late Wednesday afternoon. An impressive performance against a strong Tottenham side at White Hart Lane (

Celtic will be looking for their first points of the season at home to PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. Drawn in one of the tougher groups, Celtic’s lack of points has been unfortunate; having lost two close games 2 – 1. Despite beating Sporting Clube de Portugal last week (

Group 3 sees runaway leaders CSKA take on Chelsea at the October Stadium at 17:00 on Wednesday evening. Victory would take the Russian side safely into the knock out stages, though this is by no means a guarantee against a talented Chelsea side in search of points.
Elsewhere in the group Molde face last season’s runners up, Ajax, at De Toekomst on Thursday at 19:00. A loss would virtually end Molde’s hopes of qualification, though a win could place them in second. With such competition for second place this will prove to be a vital match.
Barnet Stadium hosts the week’s final fixture as Arsenal play Olympiacos. Group 6 is another tight group with just one point separating all four sides; three points for either team would put them top.
