Internazionale clinch victory over Borussia Dortmund
- PSV edge Sporting CP whilst Marseille hold Olympiacos to draw -
Internazionale clinched an impressive victory against Borussia Dortmund in Group 5 this evening as they maintained their unbeaten record in the competition. Despite it finishing 1-0, Inter were dominant in possession against the NextGen debutants and were close on numerous occasions to extending their lead. Inter’s Alfred Duncan dictated play throughout and was also on the end of a dangerous tackle on ninety minutes which saw Frederic Ruwe sent off. Inter lie top of Group 5 with six points from their opening two games.
PSV Eindhoven edged Sporting Clube de Portugal 1-0 at the famed De Herdgang training centre this evening in Group 4. The deadlock was broken on seventy-five minutes when Rai Vloet slotted home from the edge of the box to give PSV the three points. The victory sees both sides tied at the top of Group 4 on six points with the Dutch having played a game less.

Both sides created several goal-scoring opportunities but lacked the cutting edge in the final third to make the elusive breakthrough. The point takes both sides to top of Group 6 a point ahead of Arsenal and Athletic Club.
