Rosenborg BK got their NextGen campaign off to a great start this evening with an impressive 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund. The Germans came into the game off the back of a 1-0 loss to NextGen champions Internazionale last month and looked a little off the pace in the opening exchanges. Rosenborg started brightly, and were rewarded for the endeavour on twenty-five minutes when Vajebah Sakor found the net with a cool finish. The visitors didn't create many opportunities, and were on the back foot for much of the game.
The Norwegians pressed hard for a second goal, hitting the bar and going close on numerous occasions but the score remained 1-0. Dortmund remain bottom of Group 5 without a point in the competition, whilst Rosenborg move up to second place, three
points behind Group leaders Inter Milan with a game in hand.
